Help Needed - Adoption!

Prayerfully, soon my blog will be re-designed and set up for an adoption auction for some very dear friends of ours.  They are the ones who introduced us to Reeces Rainbow and the Bible Orphan Ministry.  We have known them for quite some time and have grown very close.  We are very excited about their newest little member to their family, Alayna Grace!  Hopefully she will be home with her new family very soon.  But, first we need to help get her there.   Will you help?!  Please follow my blog so that you will be notified when the adoption auction begins.  Look to your right and click on "join this site".  Thank you!!

The Teens!

Girls

These girls really need our help! They are almost at the point of no return. The time is really running out..soon they will become unadoptable. These girls are the same age as I am, I can't imagine being in the same situation that they are in. Here they are:

Laurel is so beautiful, she has such lovely curly blond hair and a wonderful smile! She was born in August of 1996. She has arthrogryposis and is available to large families.
$95.00 - is available towards my adoption.

Karen is amazing! She was born on Janurary 12, 1996. She has had to go through alot, she does not have any diagnosed special needs herself. She was sent to an orphanage along with her younger sister Chrystina (who supposedly has FAS). It would be wonderful if they could be adopted together but, it is possible for them to be adopted seperately. Although, both girls are in need of a loving family! Chrystina has already been sent to an institution and Karen will soon become unadoptable. Is there any way you could help them?!

Harmony is also 15 and needs a family immediately!! She is a beautiful girl with Down syndrome. If she is not adopted by July of 2012 she will never be allowed to be adopted!! She loves to learn and attends a public middle school, she is currently learning Chinese. Full medical information is available. Easy travel and relativly low cost. She is only available to married couples and there is a limit of no more than 5 children at home. There is alot more info on Reeces Rainbow.

$100.00 - is available towards my adoption

Guys

Jamie is delightful, compassionate, caring and socialable boy with Down syndrome. He enjoys learning and shows great respect to his teachers. His helpful and caring nature has made him a favorite where he lives. He was born on 12/19/1995. His caretakers are hoping for a miracle this year, he needs a family soon!

Samuel will be 16 in May 2012 – so he needs a family, FAST!
Samuel
From a family who met him in Feb 2012:
Sam is an AMAZING young man! He is friendly, good-natured, has a good sense of humor, and loves soccer (futbol). He is very good at soccer, and has gone to a camp for great players in Poland a few summers ago. Sam very much wants a family in America- he approached a family adopting there and asked many questions about it, and has talked to the orphanage staff before about how much he wants a family- for parents to love him, encourage him, and support him.

Sam's disability is very minor- he has malformed fingers on both hands that appear to be due to banding of some sort. Otherwise, he is healthy. Because of this disability, he was sent to a special needs orphanage. He is very smart, has already started learning English in school at the orphanage and is well-liked by his friends. Sam's faith in God is very important to him and he would like a family who also worships God, who will encourage his gifts in soccer, and who will tell him "I love you" and listen to him as he talks.
Sam has goals for the future, and would like to play soccer and go to college, but he knows his life in his home country will not give him those chances. He is very intelligent, very respectful and has a great perspective about adoption, because he has a friend already adopted into the US. The family that met him in February 2012 will be happy to answer questions about him as well. Sam eagerly posed for the pictures, and begged the family and facilitator to please not forget him and to find him a family fast!"

Duncan will be 16 in summer 2012 – so he needs a family, FAST!
From a family who met him in Feb 2012:
Duncan very much wants a family. He is smart and works hard. He gets along well with others. Duncan struggles with facing the future here in his native country. He knows that unless a miracle happens and he gets adopted (or a family commits and gets USCIS approval) in the next few months, he is going to be sent to a mental institution, even though mentally, he has no issues. Duncan appears to have CP, and he is small for his age (about the size of a 13 year old). Duncan's medical information is en route from the orphanage now, but the family who met him and who he approached to ask for a family and the facilitator want to go ahead and get his information and picture out there.

Duncan uses a walker to walk and is independent in mobility. Duncan is a compassionate teen and one who says he "fears even to hope for a family, because he doesn't think anyone would want him because he isn't handsome". In fact, when it was time to pose for this picture, Duncan worried that someone would see it and then not want him. Duncan needs a family to show him God looks on the heart to see beauty (even though he's a quite handsome boy regardless)- and so do Christian families. Duncan's heart is big, and he is well-loved in this orphanage. Many worry for him if he doesn't get adopted before he turns 16 and it is too late.

Please, if you are interested, contact RR right away. The family who met him is also very willing to talk to anyone who wants more information."

A post for Sarah from Sarah.

SARAH NEED'S HELP!

Hello,
My name is Sarah, I am ten years old.
When I was on ReecesRainbow I found a girl named Sarah.

Sarah is 6 years old! Sarah has HIV.
SARAH MAY BE AT RISK OF BEING TRANSFERRED!
Sarah is very cheerful and she is very artistic.
She loves to draw pictures of homes and a
Mother and Father.
Sarah is alot like me except she doesn't have a
family and a place to belong to!
Sometimes we just don't appreciate how lucky we are
to have a family and a place to call home!
I am praying so much that she will find a home!
I hope you will pray for this little angel of God!
God Bless,
Sarah

"HELP!! I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED!!"

HELP!! I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED!!

Those are the words written across Teri Lynn's RR page.

I had been praying for an update..
I did not expect to see that...

Can you believe that this is the
same little girl?!

Now..it must be Teri Lynn's Turn!

She needs a family!

She is available to older parents and single moms.

Time really IS ticking for Teri Lynn!

"Am I your Daughter?"

I wonder what her conditions are like..
I pray that she will live.

I pray that someone will open their hearts to this
little angel!

Before it's too late.

Natalya Grace

Hello, this is Julia again. This time I am talking about little Natalya Grace.  When I posted last, I talked about Nathan.  Nathan’s new parents were going to adopt Natalya.  But, when they were in the process of the adoption her parents came back for her.  This was posted on their blog:

Nothing could have prepared us for a call from our agency letting us know that Natalya was no longer available for adoption. Our lovely girl has a happy ending. Her family has taken her home from the orphanage!"
Two months and four days later Natalya was brought back to the orphanage!  This is what Nathan's new parents posted on their blog:

Natalya, the little girl we first committed to adopt, has been returned to the orphanage. If it were at all possible, we would take her home to be Nathan's sister. However, our region only allows one adoption at a time unless the children are biological siblings."
Isn’t she the sweetest! I love her SO much!  She has $1,426.00 available towards the cost of her adoption!  If God leads you to adopt her, He will make it possible!  I don’t want Natalya to go to a institution when she gets older!

Is she YOUR daughter?????????
